Pamela Wiseman, M.D.

Dr. Wiseman is the Director of the required 6-week Family Medicine Clerkship at the Tulane University School of Medicine. She has been teaching Family Medicine at Tulane since 1999. She received her bachelor's degree from Loyola University in New Orleans, her medical degree from the University of Virginia, and completed her family practice residency at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Dr. Wiseman completed a faculty development fellowship in the Office of Educational Research at Michigan State University. She is a Louisiana native, grew up in rural Louisiana, and practiced for three years in rural Mississippi.

Dr. Wiseman has a very active clinical practice at the Tulane Family Health Center at Uptown Square where she focuses on women’s health, family medicine obstetrics, and pediatrics. She is also interested in prevention, mental health, and school health. She is the Medical Director of the Joshua Butler School Health Center.
